Senior Account Executive

City Cast, a leading network of daily local news podcasts, is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Executive to join its revenue team in Philadelphia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and cultivating leads and relationships across the Philadelphia area, establishing City Cast's podcasts and newsletters as an essential buy for clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Persuasively articulate City Cast's media offerings and competitive advantages to clients and prospects via in-person and Zoom sales calls.
- Establish a network of C-Suite, senior-level media and client relationships in the market.
- Craft digital and audio programs that suit the marketing needs of clients.
- Maintain effective revenue-generating relationships with clients and media agencies, providing the highest level of sales and marketing consulting services.
- Meet monthly revenue goals as outlined in the sales plan.
- Maintain the CRM database.
- Collaborate with City Cast colleagues in other departments and cities.
- A proven track record of sales success with a high close ratio in a performance-driven culture.
- Previous media sales experience is a plus.
- Podcast/Audio experience is a plus.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations.
- Ability to hit the ground running with a strong book of business and relationships.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Be a genuinely nice person who is fun to work with.
A competitive base salary of $80-$90K, plus commission and generous benefits. The Senior Account Executive will report to the CRO of City Cast. This position is full-time, with excellent benefits.
