  • Lead Test Readiness Reviews and collaborative team sessions.
  • Guarantee test preparedness, address work interruptions, assign supporting tasks, and adeptly navigate avionics hardware through environmental testing.
  • Directly execute test procedures and oversee the operation, troubleshooting, and configuration management of automated testing equipment.
  • Document testing discrepancies and contribute to root cause analyses.
  • Facilitate and support data evaluation sessions.
  • Ensure that avionics hardware and testing documentation fulfill engineering and quality standards upon completion.
  • Mentor Technicians, Test Operators, and fellow Test Engineers.
  • Enhance processes and standard operating procedures, focusing on improving quality and efficiency within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or aerospace engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in developing testing requirements, plans, and procedures.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in designing, operating, testing, or troubleshooting various avionics devices or comparable electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with environmental testing, including Shock/Vibration, Thermal Cycles, Vacuum, and/or EMI/EMC.
  • Strong understanding of electronics and electrical circuit principles to support test design and failure analysis.
  • Proficient in Linux, Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages, with a quick learning ability.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure comprehensive test coverage and flawless execution.
  • Sound judgment and critical thinking skills to facilitate prompt problem resolution.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and project scopes.
