About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Test Engineer III to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our avionics team, you will be responsible for developing and testing electronic systems and devices for our New Glenn launch vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test electronic systems and devices for the New Glenn launch vehicle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics systems into the launch vehicle
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of avionics systems to ensure safety and reliability
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in developing and testing electronic systems or devices
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, electrical circuit fundamentals, and EMI/EMC standards
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of integrated test and operations experience
  • Experience managing sophisticated projects combining hardware, firmware, and software
  • Experience leading the development and testing of real-time embedded systems
