Manufacturing Process Specialist

Role Overview: The primary focus of this position is to enhance and maintain manufacturing processes and equipment through targeted improvement and restoration initiatives.

Team Collaboration: Actively engage as a key member within the designated Operations value stream.

Expertise Contribution: Provide specialized knowledge related to products and processes to support critical decision-making and operational activities.

Engineering Leadership: Direct Manufacturing Engineering efforts aimed at restoring and optimizing processes and equipment.

Experimental Initiatives: Spearhead Manufacturing Engineering experiments that align with essential advancements in Product and Manufacturing Technology Roadmaps.

Training and Development: Educate Engineers, Technicians, and production staff on products, processes, procedures, and equipment.

Equipment Oversight: Ensure proper operation of equipment, address malfunctions, and assist in complex setup and repair tasks.

Process Improvement: Identify and resolve gaps in process and equipment availability to enhance overall process capacity.

Technology Implementation: Support the integration of new equipment and technologies for process execution and analysis.

Time Management: Effectively manage personal time, prioritize tasks, and take accountability for outcomes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and practical troubleshooting skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PCBA assembly equipment and electro/mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with smart factory tools, including Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Understanding of machinery and tools, including their design, application, repair, and maintenance.
