Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely and proficiently operate all machines and equipment in the retread plant, ensuring they are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all retreaded tires meet Goodyear's quality standards, and that all documentation and production records are accurate and complete.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to Retread Technicians, setting standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Production Management: Maintain production schedules, control production, and monitor quality to meet service goals and customer expectations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests receive the highest level of service and support.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in retread manufacturing.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and management.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving common goals and objectives.
