Position Overview

As a Process Engineer II, you will be an integral part of our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, focusing on the enhancement and maintenance of processes and equipment. Your role will involve managing your activities effectively and ensuring the successful completion of routine tasks that contribute to overall project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate as a team member within the assigned Operations value stream.
  • Provide specialized knowledge in product and process areas to support decision-making and operational activities.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at restoring and enhancing manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Conduct experiments to support critical advancements in manufacturing technology.
  • Educate engineers, technicians, and production staff on products, processes, and equipment.
  • Ensure optimal equipment functionality, addressing malfunctions and assisting in complex setups and repairs.
  • Identify and rectify gaps in process and equipment availability to boost capacity.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and equipment for improved process execution.
  • Manage your time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and take responsibility for your outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PCBA assembly equipment and electro/mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in troubleshooting equipment.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of printed circuit boards and electronic components.
  • Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, and related electronic hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of electronic component terminology and functional testing.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C+, C#, Python, or LabVIEW.
  • Aptitude for mechanical design and smart factory tools.
  • Awareness of industry standards for workmanship and safety in handling electronic components.
