Position Overview

As an Engineer II, you will be stationed at our advanced manufacturing facility, focusing on enhancing processes and equipment through strategic improvement initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to managing your responsibilities and ensuring the successful execution of routine tasks integral to various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate as a key member within designated Operations value streams.
  • Provide specialized knowledge related to products and processes to support critical decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at restoring and enhancing manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Conduct experiments to support advancements in manufacturing technology aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Facilitate training for engineers, technicians, and production staff on relevant products, processes, and equipment.
  • Ensure optimal equipment functionality, address malfunctions, and assist in complex setup and repair tasks.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in process and equipment availability to boost overall capacity.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and equipment for improved process execution.
  • Manage personal time effectively, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of results.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electro/mechanical assembly equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Understanding of printed circuit boards and electronic components.
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software applications.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C+, C#, Python, or LabVIEW.
  • Mechanical design skills and smart factory tools.
  • Awareness of industry standards for workmanship and safe handling of electronic components.
