Position Overview

As a Process Engineer II, you will be situated within our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, focusing on enhancing and maintaining processes and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities that contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate as a team member within designated Operations value streams.
  • Provide expert knowledge on product and process specifics to support decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at restoring and enhancing manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Conduct experiments to drive advancements in manufacturing technology aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Facilitate training for engineers, technicians, and production staff on relevant products and processes.
  • Ensure optimal equipment performance, addressing malfunctions and assisting in complex setups.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in process and equipment availability to boost capacity.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and equipment for process execution.
  • Manage personal workflow effectively, prioritizing tasks and being accountable for outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electro/mechanical assembly processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in equipment troubleshooting.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Understanding of printed circuit boards and electronic components.
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, including hardware and software applications.
  • Knowledge of functional testing and data management.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C+, C#, Python, or LabVIEW.
  • Awareness of industry standards and safe handling procedures for electronic components.
