Division Overview:

Position Summary: The Accounting Associate - Cash Management will be an integral part of our team, responsible for executing and documenting daily financial operations, including the management of domestic and international wire transfers, daily accounting imports, and various accounting-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and receive both domestic and international wire transfers, process vouchers, and apply wires in SAGE/SAP as necessary, while maintaining communication with team members and reporting totals at specified intervals.
  • Manage ACH file submissions to financial institutions.
  • Identify and assist in resolving discrepancies that may arise during daily reconciliations.
  • Prepare documentation for the daily cash report.
  • Receive and update checks and deposits in SAGE/SAP.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Process journal entries as required.
  • Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
  • Provide support for other accounting functions as needed.
  • Maintain an up-to-date procedures manual detailing position responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Open to candidates with a passion for accounting, including those currently pursuing a degree or with prior accounting experience.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of wire transfer and ACH requirements.
  • Experience reconciling high-volume accounts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet daily deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Quick learner with a strong numerical aptitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, with a hybrid work policy available after six months.
