We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in leading our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Lead the daily operations of the accounting department, overseeing general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, financial statements, asset and balance sheet management, and tax compliance.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare journal entries, assist with monthly close, and analyze account balances to ensure proper application of US GAAP. Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the accounting, operations, sales, and other teams to build effective relationships and develop detailed reporting assessing efficiency and effectiveness of business and accounting processes.
  • Employee Support: Assist employees with benefit and payroll questions, perform onboarding, offboarding, and payroll procedures.
  • Facility Operations: Support facility operations by coordinating and managing items such as building maintenance, office supplies, uniforms, and other vendor relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Relevant career experience may satisfy education requirements.
  • Three or more years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience in an accounting role. Payroll processing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative and flat organization with visible cultural fit to the Company's core values.
  • Must possess and demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity and professional judgment.
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in computerized accounting and financial management systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications. Expert Excel skills preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write, read, and speak English.
  • Able to occasionally travel for meetings, training, or other business needs.
