Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Manager will play a vital role within the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance. This position is essential for steering the company's financial strategy and planning. Collaborating closely with the VP of Finance, the manager will help establish annual financial goals that align with the company's vision for growth.
Primary Duties:
This role involves the preparation of comprehensive financial reports as directed by the VP of Finance, including balance sheets and income statements. The Senior Financial Manager will also assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
Critical to this position is the ability to support the VP of Finance in delivering financial insights that inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost efficiency across the organization.
The manager will handle traditional responsibilities such as month-end closing and regulatory compliance while also contributing to the broader company strategy alongside the VP of Finance.
Evaluate the financial performance of the organization in relation to long-term operational objectives, budgets, and forecasts.
Provide valuable insights and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth strategies.
Identify and implement systems and software that deliver essential financial and operational data.
Assess departmental operations and propose automation solutions to enhance efficiency.
Engage with the VP of Finance to ensure seamless execution of financial operations and project management.
Participate in key strategic decisions regarding operational models and initiatives led by the VP of Finance.
Collaborate with the VP of Finance on pricing strategies to ensure profitability.
Establish and implement policies and procedures as directed by the senior leadership team.
Create process maps and standard operating procedures for departmental functions.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze monthly financial results and provide actionable recommendations.
Develop and maintain both monthly and annual operating budgets.
Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts.
Accounting and Compliance:
Prepare and communicate financial statements while ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
Collaborate with Human Resources to maintain legal compliance.
Review and enforce internal controls and financial procedures.
Oversee the month-end closing process, continually refining procedures to eliminate inefficiencies.
Manage all month-end closing activities, including general ledger accounts and overhead cost allocations.
Enhance financial and accounting systems, processes, and controls.
Act as a primary contact for external auditors and support all audit preparations.
Work closely with the VP of Finance on projects and reports to deepen understanding of the organization.
Financial Management:
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.
Maintain strong banking relationships and strategic partnerships with vendors.
Utilize predictive models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insights.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, offering guidance on the collection process.
Ensure timely payroll processing.
Financial Relations and Compliance:
Collaborate with the VP of Finance to develop financial plans, projections, and budgets.
Represent the company to financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
Stay informed on best practices in auditing and compliance with relevant laws.
Play a key role in adopting innovative financial technologies to enhance team performance.
The Senior Financial Manager will also contribute to stakeholder management, advising on operational activities based on comprehensive business knowledge.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
CPA certification is preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in a financial management role.
At least 10 years of overall experience in accounting or finance.
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and compliance regulations.
Experience in a contact center environment is advantageous.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and executive presence are necessary.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required.
Experience working with external auditors and managing compliance issues is important.
Attention to detail and a deep understanding of accounting processes are crucial.
Attendance and Punctuality:
