Role Responsibilities:

As a Senior Client Accounting Associate, you will engage in a diverse range of bookkeeping, accounting, tax assignments, and other consulting tasks. Your performance will be evaluated based on your proficiency and effectiveness in task execution, including the quality of your work, application of accounting knowledge, and ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Reconciliations, and Month-end Closing Services for multiple clients.
  • Preparing Sales and Payroll Tax documentation for clients.
  • Conducting research on tax methodologies and accounting practices.
  • Managing client relationships for multiple accounts, including regular communication (via phone, in-person, or virtual meetings) to address inquiries and present financial statements as necessary.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage the needs of multiple clients while delivering high-quality accounting services.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.

  • Sound decision-making skills with the ability to seek guidance when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A 2 or 4-year degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Client Accounting Services.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with software programs such as Gusto, ADP, Dext, Smartsheet, and QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Experience in the healthcare accounting sector is advantageous but not essential, including familiarity with PointclickCare software.
