Job Summary

The Director of Business Development position at AEG is responsible for driving new business growth and revenue through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Sales and Service to develop and execute sales campaigns and go-to-market strategies for new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales campaigns and go-to-market strategies for new business initiatives, working closely with sales leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Lead Sales Teams: Oversee and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, sponsors, and other business leaders.
  • Analyze and Evaluate Sales Performance: Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales revenue.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales, to develop and implement strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record in relationship building, networking, and sales, with a strong ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Aggressive Prospector: A highly self-motivated and aggressive prospector with a strong ability to excel in sales and drive business growth.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software, with experience in Pro-venue a plus.
Education and Experience
  • College Degree: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 7-10 Years of Sales Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of management experience.
