Position Summary:We are currently seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician with a solid mechanical background and exceptional cleaning skills. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of various areas within the facility, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and production areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain regular and punctual attendance, which is essential for individual and team effectiveness.
- Accurately enter data into the maintenance system in a timely manner.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform cleaning duties including restocking supplies, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
- Manage floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Monitor and maintain proper functioning of drains and other facilities.
- Utilize cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct exterior maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder as necessary.
Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 0-1 years of relevant experience. Basic math skills and proficiency in both oral and written communication are required. A valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable driving record is also necessary.
Desired Skills:- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Basic maintenance skills and familiarity with safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions. Candidates must be capable of performing tasks that involve standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
