Job Overview

ICP Group, a prominent manufacturer and formulator of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. With a strong presence in the construction and industrial markets, ICP Group is recognized for its innovative products and exceptional quality. We are headquartered in Andover, MA, and operate across North America, Latin America, the UK, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the Great Lakes Region, with a focus on adhesive and polyurethane foam products. We are looking for a sales professional with over 5 years of experience in account management, particularly with distributors serving the Industrial and OEM sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 50 – 70% travel across multiple states, including WI, IL, IN, MI, and OH.
  • Engage with business leaders at various levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Deliver training sessions and live product demonstrations to customers, both in-person and through remote learning.
  • Participate in regular sales calls and ride-alongs with distributor Sales Representatives.
  • Oversee and guide a team of Independent Sales Representatives.
  • Analyze sales and lead generation reports to identify market opportunities.
  • Provide insights on competitive products and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular customer follow-ups and comprehensive sales reviews.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in sales to industrial consumers of adhesives and polyurethane foam.
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and training abilities.
  • A 4-year college degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to work autonomously with both new and existing clients to address common sales challenges.
  • Proven success in cold-calling within a territory, engaging both large national clients and smaller OEMs.
  • Residence in the assigned territory is required, with a preference for candidates in the northwest Indiana area.
