Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue targets, expand market share, and maximize profitability within your assigned territory. This includes prospecting for new customers, identifying opportunities, and presenting comprehensive solutions that encompass a range of Peak Toolworks offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including service and support staff, to ensure seamless customer experiences and efficient account management.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of customer accounts to identify both current and future needs. Cultivate strong relationships based on mutual trust and value creation, positioning Peak Toolworks as a trusted partner.
  • Prepare compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of Peak Toolworks products and services to meet specific customer requirements while ensuring optimal profitability.
  • Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and generate accurate reports on progress and performance.
  • Leverage technological tools, including MS Office Suite and industry-specific software, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales within the industrial tool industry, with a focus on saw blades or similar products.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, effectively communicate technical information, and close deals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Tableau or Epicor is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
