Position Overview

ICP Group, a prominent manufacturer of specialized coatings, adhesives, and sealants, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee the Great Lakes Region. Our company is renowned for its innovative products and commitment to quality, serving various sectors including construction and industrial markets.

This role requires a seasoned sales professional with over 5 years of experience in managing distributor accounts within the Industrial and OEM sectors. The ideal candidate will focus on our adhesive and polyurethane foam product lines, which are marketed under established brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel extensively (50-70%) across multiple states within the territory, including key areas.
  • Engage with business leaders and cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers in various settings.
  • Collaborate with distributor sales representatives through scheduled ride-alongs and sales calls.
  • Guide and manage a team of Independent Sales Representatives.
  • Analyze sales reports to identify new market opportunities.
  • Provide insights on competitive products and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups and comprehensive sales reviews with clients.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in selling adhesives and polyurethane foam to industrial clients.
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, and training abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work autonomously and address common sales challenges.
  • Experience in cold-calling both large and small OEMs.
  • Residency in the designated territory is required.
