Key Responsibilities
  • Acts as the main point of contact with the IT department for technical assistance, ensuring all support calls are answered, logged, triaged, and assigned to the right resources.
  • Supports all software, hardware, and equipment by processing orders, receiving shipments, managing license compliance, and tracking user assignments.
  • Installs new computer equipment and peripherals, troubleshoots issues, including installing software, updates, performing virus scans, and spyware detection.
  • Orders and configures cellphones and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoots printer, copier, and scanner problems, including ordering and replacing parts.
  • Assists with the installation and upgrading of network equipment and applications.
  • Performs preventive maintenance tasks and verifies backups.
  • Updates and maintains device tracking and other information databases.
  • Sites visits to assist in hardware updates and repairs at remote office locations.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Android Phone Systems, and Windows 8.1/10/11.
  • Strong problem-resolution and time management skills and ability to prioritize workload and act independently in solving problems.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users in a professional and courteous manner with all levels of staff.
  • Must have the ability to carry/move heavy equipment without assistance and without injury to self or damage to items being moved throughout the premises.
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 products, including SharePoint, a plus.
  • Knowledge of remote desktop and phone systems a plus.

The estimated salary for this role is between $40,000 and $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
