Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Lucille's. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Present menus to guests and inform them of special menu items
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and wait times
  • Assist servers with various tasks, including removing dishes and tableware and preparing tables for new guests
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests have a positive dining experience
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide excellent customer service
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle cash
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and menu items

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Front Desk Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.

While performing the duties of this position, the Front Desk Associate is standing the entire shift. A seat is made available at the front desk for those coordinating or greeting. The Front Desk Associate frequently reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries and pushes. The Front Desk Associate frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls in repetitive motions. The Front Desk Associate is frequently required to walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The Front Desk Associate frequently carries trays up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts and carries tubs and cases weighing up to 75 pounds. The Front Desk Associate must frequently communicate with guests and coworkers. The Front Desk Associate is occasionally exposed to hazards including, but not limited to cuts from knives, slipping, tripping, falls and burns; frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, extreme cold; frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items and frequent washing of hands.
