Currently, we are proud to employ over 250 professionals across the nation. Our headquarters in Las Vegas houses our national customer service, accounting, and technology teams, alongside our Network Operations Center (NOC), which ensures robust Internet security and continuous monitoring of our networks.

The Event Coordinator plays a vital role in the organization's success by collaborating closely with event management, venue administration, and key clients to address their requirements. This position also involves resolving customer service and sales challenges through direct engagement at assigned events.

Key Responsibilities

The Event Coordinator will support the Sales & Marketing Team and will be tasked with, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Facilitating and coordinating customer service and sales activities with event management and key clients to meet client expectations and resolve issues during pre-event and on-site phases.
  2. Building and nurturing client relationships by advising on their Internet and telecommunication needs to deliver optimal event solutions.
  3. Participating in planning visits and pre-conference meetings for all assigned events to grasp client requirements.
  4. Conducting research on past event data using proprietary company resources and other tools.
  5. Preparing detailed quotes for clients and managing revisions and updates as necessary.
  6. Maintaining accurate records in the company database and ensuring all changes are reflected promptly.
  7. Disseminating essential event information to the internal team.
  8. Managing financial transactions for assigned events, addressing billing discrepancies, and engaging with clients to resolve issues and propose additional services when appropriate.
  9. Utilizing and comprehending all functionalities of the company’s proprietary software system.
  10. Assisting and responding to inquiries from customer service and sales staff.
  11. Clearly articulating and recommending all aspects of company products and services to clients.
  12. Ensuring adherence to all company policies.
  13. Providing guidance and training to junior customer service representatives, acting as a lead or regional specialist as required.
  14. Offering proactive support and coordination for pre-event and on-site client approvals and signatures on all requested services.
  15. Compiling all necessary reports for the event site.
  16. Collaborating with other departmental team members on customer service and sales matters.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, especially in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to various interruptions in a professional manner.

Exceptional organizational skills and a professional demeanor.

Knowledgeable in telecommunications and network products and services.

Quick learner, adaptable to the evolving needs of clients and colleagues.

Meticulous attention to detail is essential.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Experience in the tradeshow/event industry and/or telecommunications is advantageous.
