Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join our team at Avidity Biosciences. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our supply strategy across all clinical programs and supporting commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute shipping plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Manage and coordinate freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining all shipping documents and records, including shipping agreements and memos
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP logistics and distribution, temperature-controlled (cold chain) logistics, and FDA/EMA guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including CMC, Supply Chain, and Project Management, to ensure that shipments are aligned with production and inventory schedules
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or related field required; Advanced Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of industry experience within Logistics in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
  • Experience in temperature-controlled (cold chain) logistics and knowledge of cGMP and FDA/EMA guidelines
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, at a minimum
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Microsoft Visio, and ERP systems
