Job Summary:

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to maintain equipment and supplies, including inventory, issue, minor repair, cleanliness, and packaging. This role will also involve developing and maintaining current systems to manage issued equipment and stock levels for the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and continue to develop current systems to manage issued equipment and stock levels for the department
Prepare correspondence regarding management of these items, including notifying supervisors of procurement requirements for supplies, equipment, and services
Recommend procurement specifications, confer with vendors and manufacturers, and solicit preliminary pricing information within the scope of Foundation policy
Transport or arrange for transportation of equipment, supplies, documents, and material as directed by supervisor

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of college; Associates degree preferred
Minimum of 0-2 years experience required
Ability to learn and retain knowledge of substantive University and Foundation programs and their relationship to the logistical support functions within the department
Ability to learn and retain knowledge of the mission, duties, priorities, commitments, and program objectives of the department and the ability to respond to fluctuating workloads
Ability to learn and obtain knowledge of medical, military, and law enforcement terminology as they apply to the logistical requirements and mission of the program
Skilled in operating a computer for basic word processing and data entry
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a T3/Secret Clearance

Work Environment:

This position occasionally may be required to work in remote areas under extreme environmental conditions, including heat and cold

Compensation:

The likely salary range for this position is $35,800 - $53,300 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final salary will be determined based on market analysis, experience, and education.
