Technical Support Specialist for EV Charging Solutions

Minit Charger / Access Control Group develops cutting-edge charging solutions for off-road electric vehicles and telematics. We pioneered fast charging when it was considered unconventional, a testament to our innovative spirit. Our high-performance chargers are deployed at major airports and prominent enterprises worldwide.

Our rapid expansion has created an exciting opportunity for a technical support specialist to test, service, and provide training on our advanced chargers. As the primary point of contact for our customers and partners, you will play a crucial role in resolving technical or operational issues related to our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive daily support for battery charger inquiries and meticulously document each incident.
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve product issues effectively.
  • Deliver engaging product training sessions for both new and existing customers.
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites to offer hands-on support and training.
  • Maintain a strict adherence to timelines for extended support inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to:
    • Perform hardware and firmware testing to enhance product reliability and performance.
    • Generate weekly reports for engineering and sales teams, providing insights into service activities.
    • Monitor trends in support activity and propose strategies to minimize future incidents.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in reading, interpreting schematics, and troubleshooting electronic circuits using lab equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with power electronics and/or high voltage (3-phase) systems is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to systematically troubleshoot problems based on factors like hardware, firmware, and software.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with electronic systems and web applications.
  • Practical experience with various power tools.
  • Exceptional customer support skills, including:
    • The ability to multitask effectively and manage schedules efficiently.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications. Proficiency in web application testing using wireless devices.
