Job Summary:

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including complaints and compliments.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager or other hotel management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on front desk operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
