We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Dalwadi Hospitality Management. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless stay experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check in guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring they are assigned the correct room type and rate.
- Follow brand standards for checking in elite members and provide personalized service to exceed guest expectations.
- Check out guests at the end of their stay, collecting keys, posting late charges, and presenting the bill for accurate settlement.
- Answer incoming guest phone reservations and respond to inquiries about hotel services, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Receive and resolve guest concerns, exceeding expectations and ensuring a positive stay experience.
- Operate front desk software, maintain records of room availability, and balance cash and billing drawers.
- Process cash and credit card transactions, maintain stock of hotel lobby market stand, and complete accounts receivable and direct billing tasks.
- Follow brand standards when processing guest stays based on brand point systems and welcome guests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Check equipment and report any unsafe or malfunctioning items to the supervisor.
- Use suggested selling techniques to sell rooms and promote other hotel services.
- Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department and maintain awareness of all rates.
- Communicate with previous and following shifts, print arrival lists from booking.com and Expedia, and ensure all reservations are in the hotel's property management system.
- Ensure compliance with energy conservation and job safety requirements and proactively maintain assigned areas and equipment.
- Report all safety concerns to management and attend mandatory trainings and meetings.
Requirements:
- Good customer service skills and ability to work independently and with others.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Displays good initiative and flexibility with schedule and assignments.
