Hotel Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn & Suites West Energy Corridor. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk operations, and supervising front office staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the front desk budget and order office supplies as needed
  • Compile occupancy reports and financial information for the general manager
  • Supervise current front desk staff and hire and train new staff to ensure excellent customer service and implementation of hotel policies
  • Interact with customers both in-person and over the phone, assist with inquiries, and mitigate any guest complaints
  • Lead operations at the front desk and ensure guests have an exceptional stay
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent management skills, communication skills, and multitasking skills
  • 2 or more years of experience as a front desk supervisor or related office management position in the hospitality industry
  • Proficient bookkeeping skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, strongly desired
  • 1 year of previous experience working in the hospitality industry
