Job Summary:

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth guest experience. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train front desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting the hotel's high standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues, using effective communication and problem-solving skills to find solutions.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all hotel departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage front desk revenue, including room sales, food and beverage sales, and other revenue streams.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a strong background in customer service and front desk operations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
