Your Responsibilities.

As a Senior Patient Services Coordinator, you will:

  • Lead the team in organizing daily workloads to ensure efficient scheduling and registration processes.
  • Support financial reconciliation tasks as needed.
  • Assist team members in resolving complex issues.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling with practitioners to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Facilitate training for new employees and oversee ongoing training initiatives.
  • Conduct quality assurance assessments on team members, documenting findings for leadership review.
  • Prepare essential reports to aid leadership in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to gather charge information for all patients.
  • Code procedures and diagnoses accurately for billing purposes.
  • Serve as a resource for Practice Managers and Physicians regarding billing inquiries.
  • Manage complex patient billing issues and inquiries.
  • Welcome patients, manage phone communications, and document all interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Schedule patient appointments for various services.
  • Register patients, ensuring accurate demographic data entry.
  • Verify insurance information and inform self-pay patients of their financial responsibilities.
  • Refer patients to financial counseling when necessary.

Your Qualifications.
