Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a Senior IT Program Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and management of various initiatives within the IT division of a significant federal organization.

The Program Coordinator will engage in project planning, contribute to the formulation of project strategies, evaluate resource availability, and execute management plans for both new and ongoing initiatives.

The ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of Agile project management methodologies applicable to projects of varying scales and be adept at serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish project objectives and timelines while ensuring consistent and timely delivery of value.
  • Lead and facilitate project status meetings and collaborative sessions.
  • Prepare and disseminate progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues; implement corrective actions as necessary and oversee delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Define and implement strategies for ongoing business process enhancements and monitoring.
  • Guide the team in making informed decisions regarding system implementation, modifications, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for business processes related to testing and training management.
  • Establish and uphold a clearly defined project management framework and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives to adopt best practices in Agile project management.
  • Deliver a comprehensive Agile transformation strategy to transition from the current operational state to the desired future state.
  • Utilize standard project performance metrics to evaluate and assess program effectiveness.
  • Assist in the implementation and promotion of Agile tools, guidelines, and metrics to standardize the approach to Agile project execution.
  • Oversee overall project costs, adherence to schedules, and the technical quality of deliverables.
  • Prepare and present technical analysis reports as required to support strategic discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.

  • At least 5 years of experience managing IT-related projects, demonstrating a leadership role in a minimum of 3 successful projects delivered on time and within budget.
  • At least 5 years of experience in information system design and development in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as JavaScript and Java.
  • Knowledge of system integration utilizing Application Program Interface (API) management technologies, along with familiarity with RESTful APIs, API design, and development in both cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL database development, showcasing strong fundamentals in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading an Agile scrum team comprising developers, testers, and DevOps personnel using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with public agency interfaces.
  • A Master's Degree or project management certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, JBOSS Fuse, and Angular JS.
  • Experience in health and human services domains, including eligibility, enrollment, Medicaid, child welfare, and child support systems.
  • Experience in developing complex software systems using one or more general-purpose programming languages.
  • Knowledge of best practices for the complete Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Integration experience with financial management systems.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: web application development, mobile application development, information retrieval, large software system development, and/or security software development.
  • Relevant industry certifications/licenses.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in client-facing communication.
  • Possession of a federal agency-issued security clearance.
