Job Overview

Position: Patient Intake Coordinator

At Serenity Healthcare, we recognize the increasing challenges faced by individuals dealing with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. We are currently seeking a dedicated Patient Intake Coordinator who will play a crucial role in assisting patients to comprehend the transformative advantages of various treatment options, including medication, TMS, and Ketamine therapy.

The Patient Intake Coordinator is essential in enhancing patient care and recovery by providing support and allowing healthcare providers to concentrate on diagnosing and treating patients effectively. We are in search of compassionate individuals who can empathize, educate, and guide our patients while demonstrating exceptional documentation skills and conducting assessments in a friendly and engaging manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong conversational abilities and the skill to navigate discussions thoughtfully.

Important Note: This role involves working with patients who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts or trauma from PTSD, which could be distressing for some individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care through empathy and understanding.
  • Collect, review, and confirm all relevant information regarding patients and their appointments.
  • Engage directly with healthcare providers concerning patient care.
  • Inform patients about the treatment options available at Serenity Healthcare.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with computer-based information systems.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining composure in challenging situations.
  • At least two years of experience in a customer service role.
