Maximus is seeking a dedicated Client Support Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. This role focuses on delivering both in-person and telephonic enrollment and outreach assistance to Medicaid beneficiaries.

This position primarily operates within a designated office environment, with potential opportunities for remote work based on organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their engagement and progress.

Work collaboratively with clients to achieve program objectives and maintain eligibility for services.

Facilitate workshops and provide various training sessions to clients.

Exhibit extensive program knowledge, guiding clients through all stages of the application process, from enrollment to benefit distribution.

Assist clients in accessing services aligned with program goals, including educational and vocational training, medical assistance, childcare, transportation, mental health support, legal services, and other related needs.

Follow up with clients to ensure their needs are addressed and resolve any inquiries or concerns.

Collaborate with team members, offering expertise and support in resolving client issues.

Maintain precise and timely records of all client interactions and document relevant activities.

Share updates on outreach and engagement initiatives with project staff.

Report any barriers affecting client engagement to project management.

- Conduct both in-person and telephonic outreach and enrollment services, including education on managed care options and public health programs to clients.

- Assist clients with the enrollment, transfer, and disenrollment processes.

- Maintain professional relationships with relevant county staff and clients.

- Conduct appointments to assist eligible consumers in completing their Medicaid applications.

- Support Call Center Operations and other departments as needed to fulfill business requirements.

- Stay informed about the New York Medicaid Choice Project.

- Meet all performance standards established for this role as outlined in the annual performance criteria.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by project management to meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED required, along with 0-6 months of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Previous experience in customer service, data entry, or data processing.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Home Office Requirements:

- Candidates must possess their own laptop/computer with Windows 10 Operating System or higher.

- Reliable high-speed internet connection is essential.

- Minimum download speeds of 20 Mbps (50 Mbps for shared connections) and minimum upload speeds of 5 Mbps are required.
