The Retail Sales Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by promoting tires and automotive services, addressing road hazards, recommending services, and explaining product features. This position is essential for building lasting customer relationships, driving store sales and profitability, managing repair orders, and ensuring a clean and well-organized retail space.

Responsibilities
- Warmly welcomes and assists customers
- Handles phone inquiries and schedules customer appointments
- Identifies customer issues; may conduct road tests or visual inspections of vehicles
- Creates detailed Repair Order Requests (ROR) for services or products
- Clarifies warranties, options, pricing, and other details to customers
- Secures customer consent for services before passing orders to service staff
- Reviews completed services with customers and processes payments
- High School diploma or equivalent vocational training
- Familiarity with computerized sales and marketing tools
- Understanding of automotive tire, lubrication, and maintenance principles
- Experience utilizing Mitchell Repair vehicle service manuals for troubleshooting
- Minimum of 2 years in a retail setting, preferably in automotive tire, lubrication, or maintenance
- Experience in retail customer service and relationship management
- Preferred Experience
- 3+ years as a Sales Associate in an automotive repair shop, dealership, or similar professional environment
- Tire Manufacturer Sales Skills certification is advantageous
