About the Role

Cigna is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Sales and Contracting Development Program. As a Sales and Contracting Development Professional, you will play a critical role in developing business acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills required to quickly onboard and contribute to our focus on high-quality, affordable healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Develop Relationships: Cultivate relationships with insurance brokers, current and prospective clients, and act as a resource to them by offering solutions to their concerns.
  • Go Local: Engage and partner with the communities we serve.
  • Know Your Product: Promote Cigna's product suite and services by having an in-depth understanding of what we have to offer.
  • Be a Team Player: Work closely with internal and external individuals to accomplish your goals, including Sales Managers, Service Operations, Underwriting, Product, Marketing, Pricing, and Sales Effectiveness.
  • Maintain Organization: Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Program Qualifications
  • Senior in a Baccalaureate Program, graduating no later than June 2025 or a bachelor's degree with no more than 2 years of work experience post-graduation.
  • Preferred majors and/or minors: Business Administration, Sales, Risk Management, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Public Health, Marketing, Communications.
  • Prefer a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Willing and able to relocate to hiring territory in the U.S.
  • Seeking an opportunity in an onboarding development program.
