Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care and Support
    • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Help individuals with meal planning and preparation, as needed
    • Encourage and support individuals in their leisure time and recreational activities
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Accurately record and maintain individual records, including behavioral programs and progress
    • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders
  • Training and Development
    • Attend and complete mandatory trainings and meetings
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Report any incidents or concerns to supervisors and other relevant parties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or high school diploma with 2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Medication Administration Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
