Job Title: Fire Protection Engineer

Koniag Government Services, a leading provider of enterprise solutions and professional services, is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities and assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and emergency lighting systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to identify potential fire hazards and develop recommendations for mitigation.
  • Develop and implement fire safety plans and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Post-graduate professional engineering experience.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and Revit/Revit MEP.
Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.
