About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Washington DC or Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for providing technical and detailed design engineering services to external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical input to projects, including schematic design and construction documents.
  • Deliver detailed design services for plumbing and fire protection systems, ground sanitary/waste and rainwater drainage systems, and domestic hot and cold-water services.
  • Show technical mentorship and leadership to younger engineers and graduates.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection engineering roles within the US building services industry.
  • Proficiency in Revit and in-depth understanding of US and Pennsylvania plumbing codes.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license and membership/certifications with relevant organizations such as ASPE or ISPE.
  • LEED AP Accreditation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Do you have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection engineering roles within the US building services industry?
  • Do you have proficiency in Revit?
  • Do you have in-depth understanding of US and Pennsylvania plumbing codes?
  • Do you have Professional Engineer (PE) license and membership/certifications with relevant organizations such as ASPE or ISPE?
  • Do you have LEED AP Accreditation?
