As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting fire protection and life safety evaluations and assessments of facilities, designing and implementing fire protection systems, and providing technical guidance and support to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct fire protection and life safety evaluations and assessments of facilities
* Design and implement fire protection systems, including fire alarms, fire sprinklers, and fire suppression systems
* Provide technical guidance and support to clients and stakeholders
* Research and recommend materials and equipment to safeguard life and property against fire, explosion, and related hazards
* Ensure buildings are designed and constructed to minimize the risk of fire and protect occupants

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
* Current NCEES PE licensure in Fire Protection Engineering
* At least five years of professional experience in fire protection engineering
* Knowledge of National Fire Protection Association codes and standards, and International Code Council codes
* Ability to climb, stoop, stand for long periods, and use ladders for inspections
* Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
