We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Client Service Coordinator to join our team at Marshall & Sterling Inc. As an Assistant Client Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service and administrative support to our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reception duties, ensuring a positive and professional experience for our clients.
  • Collaborate with our Client Service Specialists to provide top-notch service to our customers, including tasks such as copying, scanning, ordering motor vehicle reports, quoting, and training.
  • Request loss runs and issue proof of insurance as needed, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process transactions with precision and attention to detail, minimizing the risk of errors and omissions.
  • Maintain professional certifications and accreditations necessary to meet our agency standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with our staff members and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with our Supervisors and Managers to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Document all conversations with clients and carriers in our management system, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Adhere to established workflow procedures and guidelines to reduce the risk of errors and omissions.
  • Promptly report any errors or omissions, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Adhere to our employee manual policies and guidelines, maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, with a strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with AMS360 software is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial insurance, is highly desirable.
  • A New York State insurance broker's license is required within one year of hire.
  • A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others are essential.
  • A high level of organizational ability, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Salary Range: $37,500 - $42,500

The salary offered will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, and work location.
