- Transaction Processing: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, paying close attention to detail to minimize errors and omissions exposure.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our management system, including conversations with clients and carriers.
- Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education programs to stay current on industry developments and best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff members, communicating effectively and professionally.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with experience in AMS360 a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the insurance industry, with commercial insurance experience a plus.
- Licensing: NYS insurance brokers license required within a year.
- Soft Skills: Positive attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Marshall & Sterling Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. We offer a competitive salary range of $37,500 - $42,500, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, education, and work location.
