Position Overview

Aspire Dermatology LLC is looking for a dedicated and energetic Medical Office Representative to enhance our patient care and customer service experience.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and team members while understanding patient demographics.
  • Conduct insurance verifications.
  • Manage prior authorizations and referrals.
  • Handle collection of deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance, ensuring accurate cash drawer balancing and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone.
  • Confirm insurance details.
  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Schedule patient appointments.
  • Utilize fax and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Be available to work at various Aspire locations as required, participating in a rotation across multiple offices.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and web browsers.
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD 10 coding.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM; a typing assessment will be conducted.
  • COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are mandatory.
  • Strong command of English spelling and grammar.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to apply skills across various medical practice areas.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in interactions with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
