Pediatric Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pediatric Office Coordinator to join our team at LifeBridge Health.

About the Role

This is a full-time day shift position that requires 8 hours of work per day. As a Pediatric Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating administrative and clerical support staff in the Pediatrics Faculty Practice.

  • Supervise assigned staff in pediatric physician practices.
  • Participate in staff interviewing, hiring, orientation, evaluation, and disciplinary action processes.
  • Authorize time off in conjunction with physician practice coverage needs.

You will also oversee inventory of office supplies, prepare requisitions for equipment, and ensure preventative maintenance for assigned office equipment.

In addition, you will obtain necessary referrals and authorizations in advance of scheduled appointments and procedures, and provide patient/customer information regarding common and routine departmental and hospital policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) with specialized field knowledge.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in ambulatory pediatrics physician practice, preferably.
Compensation and Benefits
