About the Role

As an Administrative Assistant at MedStar Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our department.

Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support, maintaining accurate files and records, and ensuring timely communication within the department.

You will also be responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies, managing inventory, and liaising with vendors to resolve issues or negotiate prices.

In addition, you will assist with organizing meetings, conferences, and seminars, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating logistics.

You will work closely with the team to maintain personnel records, track professional licenses, and process payroll and employee forms.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years' experience, preferably in a doctor's office or medical environment/health care setting, demonstrating organizational skills and a working familiarity with medical terminology and office computers (PCs and/or mainframes) performing word-processing/typing and data entry.

$27.20 - $44.80 per hour.
