About the Position

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team in the Pediatrics Faculty Practice at LifeBridge Health. This is a full-time position working 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise administrative and clerical support staff, ensuring appropriate coverage to support medical practice activities in multiple locations within the Department of Pediatrics. This includes coordinating staff work assignments to optimize efficient practice operations and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise assigned staff in pediatric physician practices, participating in interviewing, hiring, orientation, evaluation, and disciplinary action processes.
  • Authorize time off in conjunction with physician practice coverage needs.
  • Oversee inventory of office supplies, prepare requisitions for equipment, and ensure preventative maintenance for assigned office equipment.
  • Obtain necessary referrals and authorizations in advance of scheduled appointments and procedures.
  • Provide patient/customer information regarding common and routine departmental and hospital policies.
Requirements

We require a formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) and specialized field knowledge. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in ambulatory pediatrics physician practice.

Compensation and Benefits
