Position Overview

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for cultivating new client relationships throughout North Carolina. This role involves establishing and maintaining connections, addressing all MEP inquiries, and ensuring exceptional customer service across all departments. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in MEP sales, exhibit high energy, and demonstrate a competitive and entrepreneurial spirit, dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our partners and clients. Key Deliverables

  • Consistent achievement of sales growth and new business development.
  • Act as a dynamic leader in the sales process, fostering rapport to ensure client satisfaction and robust revenue generation.
  • Manage personal sales strategy to achieve growth and accurately project performance in collaboration with leadership.
  • Leverage internal processes and resources effectively to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and sustain strategic long-term relationships with high-volume clients to drive organic growth and fulfill long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's market position, products/services, unique selling points, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee customer feedback and input for all projects, providing clear direction and timelines.
  • Manage RFP submissions to secure successful outcomes.
  • Facilitate execution as a strategic coordinator, ensuring commitments are met and customer expectations are fulfilled.
  • Establish and nurture strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to maximize networking and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Maintain proactive engagement with customers and stay informed about the evolving energy efficiency market to identify new opportunities.
  • Influence clients to make informed business decisions by collaboratively persuading them and illustrating the financial and non-financial impacts of their choices.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of sales experience in the Industrial, Construction, or Service sectors (MEP).
  • Demonstrated sales achievements and an established client portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines.
  • Proficient problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment consistently.
  • Effective communication with customer leaders across all levels.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills, keeping deliverables and deadlines in focus.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and phone skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive base salary (dependent on experience) along with a lucrative performance-based commission and annual bonus structure. Our benefits package includes generous contributions for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for employees and their dependents. Additional benefits include paid time off, holidays, a 401k plan with a 4% match vested after six months, vehicle allowance, cell phone reimbursement, and business expense reimbursements.
