Overview

We are seeking a seasoned sales or marketing expert to take on a pivotal role in managing a wide array of National Account responsibilities. The National Account Manager (NAM) position will collaborate closely with sales and marketing leaders at JM Huber Corporation, including the National Account Team, General Managers of AdvanTech, ZIP System, EXACOR, and Accessories, as well as data analysts. Success in this role will be measured by effective management of key accounts, including interactions with senior executives; overseeing contract management and execution; organizing National Account customer trade shows; developing channel programs; and implementing strategies and initiatives with customers, channel partners, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will add value to our clients by understanding their needs and effectively communicating them within the organization, while also supporting major national accounts and field sales decisions through analytics, data insights, and project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team setting.
  • Possess significant experience engaging with various key stakeholders, including indirect customers and direct channel partners.
  • Assist customers in navigating available resources and departments within the organization.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and the capacity to make informed decisions.
  • Show a proven track record of working effectively on cross-functional teams.
  • Manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently while maintaining a demanding and unpredictable travel schedule.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • This position necessitates 50-75% travel.
  • A four-year bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Candidates may be based remotely or in proximity to a major market.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field sales within the building products sector is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with national accounts, pricing strategies, channel strategies, and marketing initiatives is required.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills are crucial.

Education
