This position will generate business leads, engage in problem resolution, provide technical insights, and support various initiatives for our clientele. Territory Sales Executives are essential sources of market intelligence for National Gypsum, particularly regarding competitive dynamics and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Advocate for NGC products to surpass set targets for volume and pricing. Build, nurture, and maintain robust relationships with product specification influencers, dealers, contractors, builders, and architects to effectively manage the sales and distribution of our products. Formulate, execute, and refine territory sales strategies based on continuous market analysis to identify opportunities for competitive advantage aligned with company goals. Collaborate and communicate effectively with sales management, demand management, marketing, and production teams. Identify and monitor all pertinent job leads and product specification opportunities. Investigate, assess, report, and resolve customer service issues related to complaints, credit concerns, carriers, sales tools, etc., ensuring customer satisfaction in line with NGC objectives. Efficiently organize, plan, and manage activities both independently and collaboratively. Pursue and maintain necessary professional certifications and technical expertise. Develop a best-in-class value proposition reflecting technical knowledge, market insights, and product representation.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. At least three years of successful field sales experience, ideally within the building materials sector. Personal attributes such as: Integrity and trustworthiness Strong ethical standards and personal values Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Excellent interpersonal abilities Superior verbal communication and presentation skills Decisiveness and sound judgment Highly motivated and proactive Strong organizational capabilities Technologically proficient Possess strategic insight Enthusiasm, dependability, and capacity to multitask Willingness to travel as required.Benefits Include:
