Overview of the Sales Manager Role:
The Sales Manager is tasked with enhancing overall hotel revenues.

This role involves actively seeking and qualifying new business opportunities, producing and/or reviewing all sales agreements, monitoring inquiry calls, and delivering client proposals in line with established departmental policies and procedures.

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

You will be instrumental in developing both new and existing business, providing high-level leadership to your sales team, and creating and executing strategies that will maximize guest bookings.


Your Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement sales strategies
Assisting in the creation and execution of promotional activities, both internal and external
Providing dynamic and proactive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., setting an example with personal booking targets)
Recommending booking objectives for sales team members
Participating in client calls alongside your team to secure new business and/or finalize agreements.
Managing and supporting the operational aspects of booked business (e.g., generating proposals, drafting contracts, client correspondence, etc.)
Analyzing market data and implementing strategies to meet the property’s financial room and catering objectives.
Engaging with guests to gather feedback and reviewing guest satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
Exemplifying leadership in guest hospitality, showcasing outstanding customer service, and setting a positive example for guest relations
Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
Conducting interviews for hourly employees with the necessary skills to meet operational needs.

Qualifications:


We seek a driven Hotel Sales Manager with strong leadership capabilities, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport with both new and existing clients.


Specific qualifications for this position include:
An Associate's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is a plus
A minimum of 1 year of experience (or 1 year with a Bachelor's degree) in sales and marketing, or a related professional area.
Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
Proven abilities in lead generation and closing sales.
Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
