Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager Sales Professional will be responsible for generating new business contracts while maintaining existing relationships with clients within the assigned territory.

This role involves direct contact and communication with customers and employees, requiring a high degree of customer service excellence.

Some key duties include:

  • Generating sales leads, following up on existing leads, and targeting potential clients to develop business relationships resulting in newly signed contracts and open work orders.
  • Entering all sales activity and communications into CRM daily.
  • Servicing existing clients and contract renewals.
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers.
  • Directing sales efforts as required for local office success by conducting cold calls, researching and identifying new potential customers, and meeting with prospective clients.
  • Communicating sales updates to operations staff as needed.
  • Facilitating customer contract processes from start to finish.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An associate degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated sales or staffing experience.
  • Occasional travel by automobile and air may be required – a valid driver's license and auto insurance are necessary.
