A Field Commissioning Engineer II plays a pivotal role within the team, reporting directly to the Team Leader and collaborating closely with Project Engineers. This position is crucial for the successful execution of both field and office tasks as assigned.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site inspections and prepare detailed reports.
  • Perform equipment testing to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Review submittals and prepare comprehensive feedback.
  • Update and review documents and specifications as necessary.
  • Develop and implement commissioning checklists for various equipment and systems as directed by the Team Leader.
  • Collect and analyze field data utilizing HEA testing equipment.
  • Prepare and draft reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and handling of HEA test equipment, reporting any damages to the Team Leader.
  • Assist in fulfilling performance testing requirements.
  • Manage individual time and expenses effectively.
  • Engage in special projects as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong eagerness to learn and engage in the company's developmental training initiatives.
  • Professional affiliation in a relevant trade is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Technical writing skills are a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Physical capability to lift at least 30 pounds and climb ladders.
