About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Administrator/Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Legence. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of mechanical and electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and Testing: Conduct thorough commissioning and testing of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Construction Administration: Provide on-site construction administration services, including review of contractor's installation quality, preparation of punch lists, and coordination of OAC meetings.
  • Technical Field Commissioning: Implement technical commissioning and retro-commissioning processes and standards, review project design documents, and prepare commissioning plans.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare commissioning and retro-commissioning reports, and maintain accurate records of project activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Mechanical, Electrical engineering degree or MEP project management experience with a mechanical or electrical contracting company.
  • Experience: 2+ years combined building systems commissioning and retro-commissioning experience, 4+ years combined HVAC and controls experience, and commissioning certification (CxA / CCP, QCxP, etc.) is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, and knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and operations a plus.
